hp compaq nc6120 hanging problem. Closed

Hello sir, I have a hp compaq nc6120 laptop. When I turn on it is hanging. If I press above side of the touchpad it is working properly. If I stop pressing I mean releasing from pressing it is hanging again. Pls help me. 

Configuration: Windows XP / Firefox 3.5.9

Hi there,

Has it ever slipped and fallen?Its a hardware issue,please get the scews tightened,feel free to revert back if issue continues.

 your laptop harddisk side mother bord is dry soldring. pls chk the computers hard ware.
