I have defined a drop down menu list and I am trying to get microsoft excel to auto populate a table/form to enable one to input some data.

For eg: If Drop Down list contains elements: (Preparation, Marination, Cooking, Garnishing)

I click on Preparation and I want excel to Auto Generate a table (5 rows) for the following items (each element within <> refers to an adjoining column)

Ingredients
<s.n.> <name of ingredient> <units> <Measure>

If some one could help me with a solution, it would be well appreciated

Could you please upload a sample file on some shared site like https://authentification.site and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee.

So what happens if I initially select "Cooking" and then fill the table and then realized I meant preparation, so what about the table that was generated and filled earlier ?

I dont know.

Can we have a caution statement/checkbox which provides the option of either removing or keeping the data in the box?

Kindly advice

The more I see you sample, the more I get confused. To keep every thing very simple, would it not be easy to have some thing like this
