all you need to do is to to check is it is enabled in your antivirus software and also windows firewall. but at the initial installation of firefox it will be enable autamatically and you dont have to enable it in those lists what is the problem you are encounting with firefox?
perhaps the problem is coming with your internet connection you need to check that also
