Cd drive busted/help fix!

Hello,
my cd drive button is very sensitive, my sons leg brushed it and opened it, then he fell backwards and busted it..One side completely came out. Now I can only manually push it in, it wont open or close with the button....
I'm wondering the best way to get it fixed or is there something I can buy (cheaply) that I can install myself or something? (another cd/dvd burner drive?)
I know nothing about computers, except that I have a ton of music/movies/pictures on here that I dont want wiped out to get this fixed, and obviously I cant burn them all to save them.
PLEASE HELP!

You should be able to get a replacement CD drive for $50 and $25 for someone to install it for you.

desktop...
and, its a systemax (venture..?dont know if that part matters)...where do I find the model number? :-/

sorry i posted that as an answer instead of replying...but
desktop...
