Farmville not working on new computer, HELP!Closed

Hi

I have just bought a new computer & Farmville on Facebook no longer works. I have had it to work a few times but then it stopped. I have already tried alot of what other people recommend but to no avail. When I go onto Farmville two download boxes pop up - http://static-facebook.farmville.com/v25518/flashLocaleXml.xml.gz & http://static-facebook.farmville.com/v25518/gameSettings.xml.gz but when we download them & try to open them they come up with "the archive is either in an unknown format or damaged". 

I am running the new Windows 7 & am using Firefox. I am not a huge computer expert so help would be hugely appreciated.

Dear Tracy, 

Please check in your privacy settings whether this application  has  not  been deactivated and hence have it activated for it to get working back.
