My dell computer restart but blank screeen

Hello all,

i just have got a problem with my dell computer. it was fine when i select a shut down from start menu. i suddenly switched off power supply from the plug. when i restarted my computer it's restart but only blank screen. tried a few different thing but still the same. can anybody advise where the problem is. awaiting your respones. your reply will be highly appreciated. many thanks
