                    Make sure you have all windows critical updates run a check volume for errors from local disc, properties, tools, check now. (XP. Vista maybe slightly different) Run a virus scan and a malware/spyware scan if you haven't got a program for malware?spyware you can download one from http://ccm.net/telecharger/ I use Malwarebytes. 
Spyware often causes this problem.
