Hard Drive not showing up on my laptop

Hello,

I recently got some movies off a friend.. he had a mac computers and so when i put the hard drive back into my laptop it isnt working. I have an HP laptop. You can see that it is there, but it isnt! Its like the settings have been changed and so it wont work, need help urgently!!!

Perhaps the hard drive was reformatted by the Mac. To share data between a Mac and a PC the hard drive must be formatted in FAT32. The PC can't see a Mac partitioned hard drive and the Mac can't write to a NTFS formatted hard drive. Search this site for "FAT 32 format" to find a program able to format large drives using FAT32.
