computer keeps freezing during gameplay Closed

Hello, 

      i have had my gateway for 3 years n recently started having problems w vista thought i had them all fixed now this. added more ram and my system exceeds requirements don't know what to do? could it be vista ? should i upgrade to windows seven or is it something else? maybe my video card?

Configuration: Windows Vista / Internet Explorer 7.0

Please confirm whether the RAM stick or graphic card doesn't need to be upgraded.
