Hello,
Thanks for ur quick response. I have downloaded the real network drivers from Hp and still i can't get my network working. Could it be from the CD i used in installing my windows XP? Pls tell me if i should reinstall my windows XP. Can someone pls give me the name of network driver to install for HP d230 mt.

Hi there,

In your device manager ,what is shown for network adapter?Please give more information and while downloading the driver have you entered model of laptop and choose os as per installed on your system?
