Hello,

I have Windows XP, Excel 2003, and 2007. I use large Pivot Tables, using Multiple Consolidation Ranges, which are bank statements from up to 20 different bank account. I need to compare the figures in each account to see if the individual amount, is a transfer from another account. An example is:

ACC 1 Pay In, Account 2 Pay In, Account 3 Pay In, Account 4 Pay in

25/12/2009 £20,0000 £50000 £140000

01/01/2010 £78000 £34000 £250000 £50000
etc...

I need a macro or formula that will search the spreadsheet and highlight the entries that are probably transfers between the accounts. It may be that £5000 was paid in one day, but took 3 days to clear, so doesn't appear in account 4 say, for a few days, so the macro will need to locate transactions that are a few days adrift. It also needs to highlight the first instance and the one that is up to 5 days later. In the above example it could be the first entry, the third entry and also the 9th entry. I've tried various 'countif' formulae, using conditional formatting, but nothing works well.

Any help is very much appreciated.

Regards

Kev

Could you please upload a sample file with sample data etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee.
