how to restore my Gateway LT Series LT2021uClosed

Question

Hello,   

My little red gateway notebook freezes as soon as I turn it on :(  
The only way I can turn it off once it is turned on is to hold down the power key, and I am aware that this is very bad for my [already broken] computer.  
Please please help me restore, reboot or whatever I need to do to my computer to fix it!  
my laptop is has windows xp by the way.....


Configuration: Windows Vista / Firefox 3.0.19

Hi there,

Remove you memory sticks ,clean them with alcohol then reseat back,feel free to revert back if still having problems with more and complete information.
