Pc will not boot

Hello,

I have the BSOD on my pc with the following stop code 0x000000ed (0x87196900, 0xc0000006, 0x00000000, 0x00000000) I have tried start in safe mode but just comes back to the blue screen. I haven't the xp cd as I purcased my pc from Dell and didn't get one in the package. Is there any way I can get this fixed? I don't mind losing what I have on the pc but would like to save if I can.

Hello,

First check your cable connection 80 wires and 40 broches.

You must also reinitialize the default Bios parametres.

A Tech support guy told me to unplug the computer from the power supplys and hold power switch in for 60 seconds. This solved problem.
