Activate Bluetooth on both mobile phones,making them visible to searches made,then make a search and pair them entering a password of your choice.

You can send via SMS or email if your plan allows. when viewing photos in gallery there is also a "share" option which is by email. Depending on the size of the photo SMS is easiest. Just compose a text message and add an attachment. It may re-size larger photos, If this is an issue then use email or bluetooth.
