As per my experince i must recommend you first to perform system recovery; by recovery partition or install new OEM (VISTA/XP/ME/WIN 7) once again,
if recovery is performed or installation is done then there is no issue with the harddrive of the unit.
if not, so then there is hardware issue with you unit... for that please visit the product manufacturer webpage for more support.
if issue still prsist with pc then visit the service center of unit manufacturer.
