Hp pavillion Please HELPPPP

Hello, i have the hp pavillion dv6000 and it worked good for a couple of years, but now, the computer is on and everything is charged, but the screen light is black and you can only see the screen if u put it in light, and that still doesn't work!! i have tried opening and closing it 50 million times already!! and it will turn bright for 1 sec and than go back to black!! i really need help because the laptop has icons that i use, that are not installed on my normal coputer!!

any fixes??????
