Samsung f480

Hello,
i have a new samsung SGH-F480 and my phone was turned off and now when i try to turn it back on i have to use a password which i dont remember. i have also tried putting the sim into another phone with the same network provider but is also locked when the actually other phone isnt locked with other sims. i dont know the password. is there any way i can unlock my phone so i can use it please?
