Hello,
can someone please help me recover my laptop from the bin. I have a blank Black screen with a flasher cursor in the top left hand corner. I'm not computor literate and need to be walked through any steps.
Any help would be much appreciated as I have lost all my childrens photos etc etc. Thanks

If you are getting black screen after windows loading
try this 1
switch on ur pc and keep on pressing F8, if bootmenu appears just click on Esc key and keep pressing F8---> then windows advanced options menu appears
select --->safe mode ---> press enter
then follow the below instructions
click on start-->run-->regedt32
a registry editor window will be opened in that locate this registry path:
HKEY_LOCAL_MACHINE\SOFTWARE\Microsoft\Windows NT\CurrentVersion\Winlogo
at the right side, find the strings shell & userinit and check the following
shell value data should be
Explorer.exe
userinit value data should be
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,
If shell and userinit are having different data values then change it as mentioned above
Just double click shell and userinit and enter the data values as
shell value data should be
Explorer.exe
userinit value data should b
C:\WINDOWS\system32\userinit.exe,
Note: there is "," at the end of userinit.exe
After entering into normal mode scan ur pc with antivirus &
download malware anti-malware application-->update it -> then select deep scan.
