HP Touchsmart notebook power issue Closed

Question

Hello, 

My HP Touchpad notebook shut down last night and will not restart today.  It is plugged in but nothing is working and nothing happens when I push the on switch.
I did take the battery out and try it that way, still nothing.
Desperate for help!

Hi there,

Use a multimeter and test the voltage output given by the power adapter if laptop?it must be in range of 18 to 18.5 volts,if not having any reading then change the fuse in the adapter plug and try again.
