Not able to install any software

Hello,





I am not able to install any software as when ever i install any software it shows

"THE WINDOWS INSTALLER SERVICE COULD NOT BE ACCESSED. THIS CAN OCCUR IF YOU ARE RUNNING WINDOWS IN SAFE MODE, OR IF THE WINDOWS INSTALLER IS NOT CORRECTLY INSTALLED. CONTACT YOU SUPPORT PERSONNEL FOR ASSISTANCE"

But, i am not running window in safe mode.. and even i am not able to install the windows installer.

can anyone help me..

Hi,

try this 1,

Click on start-->run-->type services.msc-->click on ok-->services window will be

opened--> at right side,scroll down for the windows installer---> double click on

the windows installer-->Windows Installer Properties window will be opened.

Set Startup type to " Automatic" from the dropdown men--->then click on start

button--> click on OK--->close the servies window--> Now try to install the

application.
