Blue color during window xp installation

Hello everyone,
i have a compaq laptop and when i try to reinstall window xp after extracting files it bsays"ypur computer has been shut down to prevent further damagae.it might be due to hardware or virus.

Hi,

May be the Sata drivers are missing. Download the sata drivers from your

manufacture website and slipstream the sata drivers into windows xp.

or

Go to BIOS and change the SATA mode to IDE or Compatible Mode.

Note : Changing the SATA mode will decrease the performance.
