HP 6500 copying problem

Hello,

My HP 6500 does not copy, the result is a page all black, have tried restarting, but no luck.All other functions work well. Can you help.

Hi there,

It does not copy what?cd?dvd?or any data on system itself?please give related information.

The HP 6500 is a wireless all in one printer/copier/scanner/fax, by copy i mean it seems to have a problem with the imaging, i have tried the scanner and the result is the same, a black sheet, no image at all.

Did you ever get an answer? I'm suddenly having the same trouble, scanning and copying. No trouble with direct print.

Try scanning function, in all probability it will show the same result, all black. The problem is with the imaging and the equipment needs to be corrected by changing the scanner assy. this can be done at any authorized service center, i have got my problem fixed.
