Web browsers not working, firewall issue?
Closed
Hello,
My laptop suddenly is not able to access websites. I've tried both Firefox and Internet Explorer.
I can get a connection to the router fine, and I do have internet access from it, nothing that uses a web browser is working though.
Internet Explorer's error said that due to the web browser recognizing an internet connection but not being able to go to any sites, it is probably a firewall problem.
Anyone have any idea of how to fix this?
If it makes a difference, the laptop has Norton 360 on it as it's firewall and Windows Vista.
This laptop was gifted to me, and I don't know how to "safely" change settings.

Dear Zakk,
Please confirm whether the trouble is coming from the firewall by getting it deactivated.
Thanks.
