Hello, 

i am also a bigginer in excel i just want to kow that if we have a name in cell and want to display a certain part from that cell in another cell, what we need to do in that case.

Example: if we have HSBE bank in the cell and want to display HSBS only.

Hi there,

Select the cell and point to data tab>select text to column on same tab>on the open window select 'delimited' press next,select tab and space,nest and last tab select general and finish.

Depends on what you want. Is it a fixed length string that you want to display or a delimited string. By that I mean would you always want to show first 4 characters or do you want to display till first space
