Hi there,
Select the cell and point to data tab>select text to column on same tab>on the open window select 'delimited' press next,select tab and space,nest and last tab select general and finish.

Depends on what you want. Is it a fixed length string that you want to display or a delimited string. By that I mean would you always want to show first 4 characters or do you want to display till first space
