I have a problem with webcam on msn

Hello, resently i have had problems on msn with the webcam , when i click on someones webcam icon it goes straight to video call without the option of selecting view webcam,as i dont have a webcam i cant do the video call , does anyone know a way of solving this problem i have tried removing msn from my computer and reinstaling it but these attempts have failed and i still have the problem , if anyone could help i would be muchly apresiated , thank you
