Nokia 5310 not responding to formatting

Hello,

can anyone please advise me how to format my 5310? I tried pressing on/off, 3, green phone and * and it still has blank screen........any ideas?

Hi there,

These keys do not work on 5310,you have to flash it for which professional and special kit is required,take it to any mobile phone repair shop and get it be flashed,

Thanks drlootle. I'll try it out. Does that mean that afterwards, I can just download the new firmware and install from the Nokia site?
Sounds too good to be true!
