Hello everybody,

this is the scenario:
I have 2 spectrometers that aquire data. I need to compare the aquired data and in order to do so I wand to create a line chart witch wavelength as X-axis label and intensity as Y-axis label.

#1: 195nm to 410nm (X-Axis data) which detects 2047 datapoints
#2: 195nm tm 1190 (also X-axis data) which detects 3647 datapoints

How can I get these two data sheets in one line chart using different categories (X- axis labels)

The first device has a smaller stepwidth and if I use the data from device #2 the wavelenths do not correspond anymore...

I'm using Microsoft Excel 2003

Thank you very much in advance :)

Could you please upload a sample EXCEL file WITH sample data, macro, formula , conditional formatting etc on some shared site like https://authentification.site , http://docs.google.com, http://wikisend.com/ , http://www.editgrid.com etc and post back here the link to allow better understanding of how it is now and how you foresee. Based on the sample book, could you re-explain your problem too
