Linux files from ftp server

Hello,



How to get files from ftp server in a particular folder of my system using linux in a linux environment?

Even though I am using lcd , I am not able to do that

other option can be before you start the ftp session, change the dir first and then start ftp session

You can use lcd to change the local directory. cd is to change the remote server directory
