Head phone jack isn't working.

I've looked through all of the other answers for this and haven't been able to make mine work.

My speakers are working and the head phones are fine. If I go into the control panel under manage devices the head phones pop up and if I perform a sound test I can hear through them but I can't hear regular music or sound only. Thanks for your time.
