Video Freezes

Hello,

Please help! The picture momenterely freezes when viewing online clips, trailers or movies. When it freezes I get a circular, nickel size image that disapperas when the video starts playing again. The image is similar, in its function, to an hour glass image, perhaps indicating it's trying to work but does not quite get there. Im using IE, Windows Vista and I beleive I have the latest flash player and java updates.
