My mp4 just says charging

Hello

when i plug my mp4 to my computer it does'nt show up on the computer but on my mp4 it says that its charging why can't my pc detect my mp4 soemone plz help

Hi,

Either the mp4 driver needs to be installed or the cable in use does not have the 4 wires connected only 2 which are for charging only and not for data transfers.Try with another cable ,else install its driver.
