problem with moniter Closed

Hello
I have a problem with the monitor, the computer runs fine but the monitor comes on for 2 seconds and just black right out again. I click it of and on again, it just does the same thing over again. What should I do? It's an hp 19" flatscreen. Please supply me with answers if possible.

if there is not any hardwere proble .we should think about setting and adjusting . there may be screen saver setting in  a short periode. look once a time and adjustlong  a long time. thanks

Have you tested the monitor on another pc/laptop?and the cpu with other monitor?try it and give your feedback with obtained results,

Please confirm that the problem is not coming from your graphics card.
