Gateway LX6810-01 Vista Home Premium 64 bit
I have started to get a crash dump blue screen on boot up.
This just started a couple weeks ago, I have only rebooted I thank three times since this started maybe for at the most, I may have run cc and removed a dump file or 2. I just don't reboot very often, mostly only after installing some thing that requires a reboot, the first time I just clicked start windows normal on the restart and only seen the blue screen two times then booted up, second time had to go through the blue screen 4 times, and yesterday it was like 9 times before I got booted up. System runs fine after it gets booted up
I have been getting 3 MHotKey.exe failed to start errors as soon as windows opens, you will see a lot of these in the app crash tex file, this started a month or two before the blue screen, In fact I got these errors about a year ago and they just stopped untill a month or so ago,
Updated my vidio driver today, rebooted and still got blue screen, only got it one time then went to a good boot

I did find gateway recovery , it was @ start/programs/gateway/gateway recovery management. I reinstalled the keyborad drivers, I looked up the MHotkey.exe and there were 10 of them [C:\Windows\mHotkey.exe] and 10 other ones[C:\Windows\Prefetch\MHOTKEY.EXE-A7ADCB97.pf]after reboot only 2 were left in each location.
I am thanking that a complete over haul would do this system a lot of good, I got the next 5 days to kill, plenty of time to get a new system back to where I want it, but I thank I will pull out my XP pro 64 disk and junk this vista,will install on its own partition to be sure every thing works first. I ran XP pro for years and never had to do a reinstall, this one is less than a year old and I have only used it for about 7 months, and theres so many softwares that I like to use that just don't work with vista 64 bit, every thing works with XP
And here is the last 8 from bluescreenview this all I have, the first 2 may have gotten deleted with CC
it seem that dump_nvstor64.sys is a constant

seems I can boot from disk but system crashes right at the time options should show up for new install, had same problem with gateways recovery, at this point my options seem to be to just format the drive and hope for the best with my XP disk, this 30 minute reboot is getting old.
I am really regretting stepping up to 64 bit, it is no where near ready for the general public, allmost nothing works with it and if it dose its only half ass.
I have got ever thing backed up, all I need is a way to get some kind of fresh install, at this point nothing works, crash dumps kill any thing I try
Thank I got it fixed, uninstalled a little app called easy cd-da extracter which was also trying to use the Aspi32.sys file, have had 5 clean boots in a row now, will report back after a few more reboots
Still clean, Read your minidump files with what the event vwier says and you mite beable to solve a lot of your own problems.
I have been at this problem for about a week, just learned how to read the dump files and the eventviwer, it helps to know whats going on in your system
