Hello Sanjay,
If you are confirmed that the charger is faulty, there is no solution apart from having it replaced. Yet if you are not sure, please try the charger on another friend's laptop.
If the problem is not with the charger, then it could be coming from the battery and it might be that you will need to get the battery replaced, after all all components have a life time span.
Do not be so hasty though for the fact that there may be other things that is preventing the flow of electricity, send it to a computer technician to see into the matter.
By the way, could you please indicate whether the battery light glows when the charger is plugged into the laptop?
