Hello,
I want to install Ubuntu or Fedora 7 in my dell optiplex G270 system. But everytime i do that the screen goes blank within the first couple of steps of installation. Is this a driver issue or some hardware complaint?

which monitor you are using?
LCD?
I think it is related with screen resolution , please try new version of Linux like read hat
