Microsoft Excel Look Ups

Hi Guys,

Please can you help.

I am trying to do a formula which allows me to look take a cell, for example the word 'help' and look for it in a separate worksheet. Then to take tha value in the column next to the word.

Work book 1
A1
= search for the word help in work book 2 and returns £10.00

A2
= search for the word car and for the cell to equal £15.00

etc


A b
1 help £10.00
2 car £15.00
3 bus £20.00


Any help would be greatly appreciated
