Flash drive won't show up

Hello,

I've been having problems when i connect my flash drive to my computer. It will install the software needed to run it, but the flash drive won't show up in explorer, or disk management. i'm running windows xp. Could someone please help me fix this problem? it would be greatly appreciated.

the reason why your flash drive did not show up may be because its not installed well into the flash vault or your computer might have a problem
