My mic doesnt work :(

hi ! i have a asus labtop and my mic doesnt work! i can hear when im webcaming with friends but they cant hear me. i tried everything ! trying to set it up and everything... please please help !

do i have to dl a software?? my laptop is pretty new so i would think there is a built in mic..

Dear Jaylaaa,

There is no garantee, especially on this Chineese assembled Asus that you have a built in mic. If you don't, we would try solving your issue for something that is not there.

Before we can attack your problem, first check if you have a mic. You can look it up on the Asus website or in your user's manual.

If you do have a mic, let me know the Asus model and also your operating system.
