HELP ME..I want to retrieve my files>>

Hello,

I have a WD my passport for over 2 years, I got files in it so many...it was sort of my backup storage..unfortunately I cannot retrieve nor read from my laptop the usual thing that I do.

I cannot understand why this is happening really, the moment I connect it sounds fine since it spins..but i can't any any or the drive isn't detected. please help. please help

Tere,

lets see if the computer can see something.


can you click start > right click my computer > manage

a new window will open up.

on the left, click disk management and see if it can see your external drive.

(ignore C: local disk and your CD/DVD drive)
