What would I need to do to host my own web site on my open source pc

Hello,

I use Ubuntu 10:10 on my pc. I have no Microsoft software. I want to host my own website and domain name.

How do I do this?

First you need a fixed web address and then your ISP must allow you to host. Most residential ISPs do NOT allow hosting.
