Networking through switch

Hello,

i have two PC's one is the desktop(XP) and other one is the laptop(XP), a broad band internet connection and a switch (10/100 Mbps 8 port N-way Switch),I m enable to share the internet connection but i want to share printer, scanner as well as file sharing...
So is the possible?? can i share both internet and printer and file sharing at the same time??? and please tell me how can i do this ... plz tell me step by step procedure thanks.

I don't understand your hardware setup. Normally you need a "router" to share the Internet. Since, a "switch" does not provide the software to resolve the Internet traffic to multiple computers.

I suggest you Google "home network" to find instructions. There are some good sites that provide all the help you will need.
