Windows vista vs firefox

Hello,
i have windows vista home premium using 32bt OS

i try to download firefox (2nd and 3rd version) and it seems to download only to give me a message that says it may have not installed properly, and you ither click it did or it didnt then a little blaxk bx appears on screen for breif second then nothing?????restatr cpu but no firefox????please help,thank you

They're are some issues with firefox and vista read the notes under known issues https://website-archive.mozilla.org/www.mozilla.org/firefox_releasenotes/en-us/firefox/2.0.0.1/releasenotes/ have you thought about trying Google chrome??? i found it quite good and i never had any vista problems https://support.google.com/chrome/answer/95346?hl=en give it a go you might like it :)
