hi,

i recently got a replacement motherboard Gigabyte EP45-DS3P for my computer and it was working good untill i restarted it and disconnected 1 sata hd. everytime i try to acess bios (delete) the system will reboot it self. the system will start up on a corrupt version of windows tiny xp. i need to access the bios in order to change some boot hd sequence.

any ideas?

thanks

you can remove the CMOS battery (or use the CMOS reset jumper if you know where it is) that will erase the BIOS settings - that might allow you access.

iv got a clear cmos button on the motherboard. when the computer is cold i can access the bios but after about 3 or 4 minutes of it being on it wont allow me to access it.
