Safe mode

Hello, I have had advice from an MS forum, to run malware bytes scan in safe mode. When I enter safe mode with networking, the malware bytes screen is longer than my monitor screen. I can only access part of the Malware panel and can't get at the scan start button. I have scanned in normal mode but I was told it should be scanned in safe mode. How do I get around this problem. Have you tried any other safe mode modes?
