I have sound but no Picture pc to tv hdmi Closed

Hello, 



Help, I'm trying to hook my HP notebook up to my Vizio HDtv with a HDMI cable I have it where I'm able to get sound thru the tv but the picture is just the backscreen off my pc. Please help I know nothing about computers...

Did you try holding down the function (Fn) key and tapping the blue monitor key (it's different on all laptops, but usually one of the "F" keys) to send a digital signal to the TV?
