System is on bt the screen is blank

Hello,
i closed the flap of my dell inspiron mini when it was on and the screen went blank....its not getting off....plz help....

Hi,

Remove battery ,press on the power on button and hold for few seconds then put back the battery followed by power adapter and power on .
