Can you see your mp3 player in disk management???
Click Start, right click on my computer and select manage
click Disk Management and see if your mp3 player is detected.
Right click on it and assign a letter and format it.

Greetings,
First, go into your BIOS to see if the MP3 is detected there, if yes, follow these instructions:
After plugging the memory card in the device, go to device manager (In run type "devmgmt.msc") In Device manager go to "Universal serial bus controllers" It should list the storage devices that you have connected to your PC. Right click and then click "Uninstall. Remove the MP3 and restart your system.
Try connecting the device again, i think this should solve the problem.
Good Luck!
