Rga to component to work

Hello,
i have a toshiba Satelite L35-S1054 laptop running wondows 7 Ultimate that im trying to connect to a very old JVC projection tv. i've pluged in the rga and got a splitter to run the componet cable but i am not getting a picture on my tv. does anyone know if i can make this happen if so is there any specific drivers i need to download to make it work. thanks

Greetings,

After hooking up your laptop to the projector, press the "Fn+F5" combination keys to see if you get picture.
