Computer Not Booting After New Ram Installed

Hello,

Hello,
I upgraded my ram on emachines T3504 from 512mb to the max capacity of 2 gb and now when I try to start it comes up with no hdd recognized to boot from. Have tried the windows system recovery cd and it says system recovery cannot continue. It will however, let me get to the bios and boot sequence screen but that's it. Any suggestions would greatly be appreciated, thanks!!!

I suggest you install the old memory and see if it works. Memory is sometimes incompatible even if it technically the correct form factor and speed.
