Hello,
I just got a new computer with Windows 7 and when I try to get line in on audiograbber a window comes up saying it can find no sound card. What is going on? I didn't have a problem with XP.

it seems your sound also was working in windows xp ?

case 1 : if u got sound in xp ,and the windows7 is without sound and also gives u a popup saying no sound card ?

---if you are good at physical tech. then you can open the computer and see sound card is placed properly and the name of the company it is from , and download drivers for the same on google ,they might be free .

if you are not good at tech.
in windows 7

STEPS
click start ----search :RUN --and select that---type "devmgmt.msc"
a window will pop then
you will see a "sound , video and audio device "
click there
under that you will see ..1 option high defination audio device OR whatever device you are using
click that ...
a window pops up .there will b 3 tabs
General / driver / details

go to driver tab
click upgrade .

if it not works
click uninstall then after uninstalling click install and after installation click upgrade

--case 2 :
if u got no sound in xp too ?
...

then its is a hardware problem ...u just need to open the computer ....look how it is done and where the sound card is found and how to remove and place it back from searching google videos ...

then just follow the above steps again ..

thank you
